Today, I got to do
this cool thing! Nest Crafty, hosted by the awesome
Amanda of My Little Dears and Jessica. We got to make
crafts! Now, I never do this kind of stuff. Let's just say the greeting card biz has basically
overrun my desire to make anything else. But this was a great excuse to hang out with a bunch of super cool gals and learn how to make some cool crafties.
These were all pretty simple crafts, but all set up having everything you need right at your fingertips - and things I'd never,
ever do at home.
Check out my creations... some are better than others. Hey, I'm a greeting card aficionado, I do not wear many other hats...

| Upon arrival, our nametags, made from a metal can lid! Genius. |

| Hoop art! I've never messed with these before so this was super fun. Hot glue gun burns, but worth it in the end. |

| Turns out, I remember how to sew! No, I didn't make the gray pillow. I made the very simple peach pillow. |

Overall a
super day, I'm so glad I have all these unique things around my apartment now. I feel like I accomplished a ton of stuff in a 4 hour time frame too! A special thanks to the fine ladies who put this on - I'm so glad I signed up!
